The Role of Video in the New Normal: Kaltura Data Report 2020

We’ve heard a lot about the “New Normal” at work. But what does that actually mean?

Six months into the pandemic, let’s take a look at the “office” today – what changed? How do people feel? And what do employees actually want at this point? We polled over 1,000 office employees to get a better picture of how the newly-video intense office is affecting them during COVID-19. Some of their answers support what everyone has been hearing anecdotally. And some might surprise you. Here are a few of the key findings:

  • 63% of employees admit that working from home has made them less social
  • 42% would rather have flexible video options – such as pre-recorded messages – in addition to scheduled virtual meetings
  • 68% want remote work options for the future.

What else can you learn about what employees want and how to keep offices working effectively in this endless pandemic? Read “The Role of Video in the New Normal: Kaltura Data Report 2020” to find out.
